Vadim Focsa leads FDC Glass Group as CEO, overseeing operations across residential and commercial projects throughout Washington State.
His involvement spans the full lifecycle of a job. He estimates work, manages projects through to completion, and installs alongside the crew. Few people in this industry see a project from every angle the way he does, and that vantage point shapes how FDC operates: careful planning up front, clear communication throughout, and accountability for the details that determine whether an installation performs the way it should.
Working alongside his father Viorel, Vadim has helped grow FDC Glass Group into a company serving homeowners, contractors, architects, and commercial property owners across the region.
Vadim came up inside FDC rather than arriving from somewhere else, learning the trade on active job sites rather than in a classroom. He’s handled window and door installations, shower glass, railings, and custom glazing work directly, which means he’s seen firsthand how different materials behave over time in Pacific Northwest conditions.
That practical grounding is why his writing focuses on decisions homeowners actually face: which materials suit which openings, what separates a good installation from a poor one, and how to evaluate a contractor before signing anything. He writes about operations and material selection because those are the two things he works with every day.
